We provide services to couples and families undertaking the adoption of children of all ages. We have worked with foster parents, stepparents and non-family members throughout the adoption process. We provide our clients with services from the preparation of the initial petition to the final hearing before the court issuing the final decree. The firm counsels clients of all sizes in the drafting, perfection and enforcement of agriculture loan agreements. This includes the representation of companies and individuals in the collection of agriculture related loans and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings by agriculture companies and farmers Bankruptcy / Creditor's Rights We represent creditors involved in proceedings under all chapters of the Bankruptcy Code. We are regularly engaged in representing clients in both consumer and business cases including:

• Preference actions • Dischargeability actions We are also available for representation of creditor's committees in Chapter 11 proceedings. Our practice is limited to the representation of creditors and creditor’s committees only. Our client base includes individuals to large regional and national financial institutions and companies. We represent clients in all matter of civil litigation in the courts of the State of Alabama. Our experience in the trial of cases, whether it is a jury or bench trial, allows us to guide our clients through the often complex and confusing process of litigation. We represents clients in all aspects of the collection process, from initial contact to execution on judgments. Our collection practice includes the collection of commercial, business and consumer debt. We are also available to assist clients in developing in house documentation and collection procedures. The firm is experienced in providing counsel to clients regarding the drafting and execution of account agreements, loan or account documentation and collateral documents. We regularly counsel clients regarding commercial transactions. Services offered include drafting of commercial and loan agreements, collateral documents, preparation of commercial and residential leases, commercial real estate transactions, purchase and sale of business assets and structuring of various types of financing arrangements. We also advise clients regarding stock and asset purchase agreements and other types of business transactions. Our
corporate and business law practice involves assisting clients in the formation
of businesses and the maintenance of existing entities. We provide counseling
on the selection of business entities, the formation of corporations (both
subchapter S and subchapter C corporations), limited liability companies,
limited liability partnerships and general partnerships, the maintenance of
corporate minute books and advise concerning annual meetings and interpretation
of by-laws and agreements. We are also available to prepare most types of
business agreements and contracts including buy-sell agreements, asset purchase
agreements, stock purchase agreements, employee handbooks, invoices and sale
documentation and employee e-mail and internet policies. We also serve as general counsel to companies in
various industry groups. We advise businesses and individuals on technology related issues including the review and legal audit of internet web sites and the drafting of various documents and agreements including non-compete agreements, work-for-hire agreements and employment agreements for programmers and other technology related employees. Our wills and probate practice includes representation of individuals and creditors in the probate of testamentary estates, including personal representatives heirs making claims and creditors. The firm represents individuals in petitions for adoptions and the appointment of guardians and conservators for minors and incapacitated persons. We also represent clients in the preparation and execution of wills, powers of attorney and living wills. We also represent personal representatives throughout the probate process from initial petitions to probate to final closing of the estate. We advise and represent creditors in preparation and prosecution of claims against estates.
